Since 2001, we have been designing and manufacturing professional indoor lighting solutions — Downlights, Grille Lights, Track Lighting, Pendant Lights, and custom systems — for commercial, residential, and hospitality & retail projects worldwide.

Today, we serve customers in 50+ countries across Europe, America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Our 20,000m² facility in Guangzhou integrates electronic workshop, CNC centre, assembly lines, and international standard testing laboratories under one roof.

Component InspectionKey components and materials are inspected against defined specifications before entering production.
In-Process ControlProduction processes are monitored through inspection and testing to maintain consistent assembly quality and product performance.

Company History

Since 2001, KOE has been developing and manufacturing lighting solutions with a focus on quality, reliability and innovation.

2001 European Beginning
KOE was founded on February 28, 2001, with a clear focus on the European market. We began with halogen downlights and built our early business around the lighting needs of European customers. From the beginning, European market requirements became an important reference for our product development and manufacturing.

2002 Quality & Partnership
KOE established a structured quality management system and adopted “Quality as the Only Standard” as a guiding principle. During this period, our key product ranges reached international standards, and we began establishing long-term partnerships with leading lighting importers in Europe.

2004–2006 Manufacturing Expansion
In 2004, KOE established its first production base, strengthening its manufacturing foundation. In 2006, a second production base was completed, bringing the company’s total production area to 20,000 m². During this period, our markets expanded beyond Europe into Asia and Central and South America.

2008–2009 LED Transition
In 2008, KOE established a dedicated LED lighting laboratory and began developing LED products. This provided a stronger technical foundation for the development of new LED lighting solutions. In 2009, our first LED indoor lighting products entered the market, marking an important step in the company’s transition to LED technology.

2010–2011 R&D & Electronics
In 2010, KOE established an in-house R&D team and optical laboratory, strengthening its capabilities in optical design and LED technology. The same year, we obtained ISO 9001 certification. In 2011, a 1,200 m² ESD-controlled cleanroom for electronic manufacturing was completed and put into operation.

2012 Reliability Testing
KOE established dedicated reliability testing capabilities to evaluate product performance and durability. Testing became an integral part of product development and production, further strengthening quality control and product reliability.

2014–2016 Responsibility & Innovation
In 2014, KOE established a social responsibility management system and completed an ICS social responsibility assessment. In the following years, the company continued to strengthen technology innovation and in-house R&D capabilities.

2020–2023 Sustainability & Compliance
KOE continued to improve its manufacturing and management systems. We strengthened clean production practices, obtained AEO Advanced Certification in 2022, and achieved ISO 14001 certification in 2023, further strengthening environmental management and international trade compliance.

2026 New Chapter
In 2026, KOE entered a new phase of development, with a renewed product strategy and an improved product system. We expanded our digital presence through a new independent website and social media channels. At the same time, we continued to optimize manufacturing and business processes as part of our lean transformation.
